Nativity Scene Museum
The name "Maranatha" is Aramaic, Jesus’ mother-tongue, and means „Our Lord May Come“. The impressive collection with numerous carved wooden figures will impress the old and young alike.
 
Prettau Climate Shaft
The decommissioned Climate Shaft maintains a microclimate that is very beneficial for adults and children with breathing problems.
The shaft reaches about 1100 meters inside the mountain and is a place of peace, relaxation, and recuperation.
 
Castle Taufers/Tures
The mighty Castle Taufers originated from the dynasty of the Sirs of Taufers with impressive and interesting defense fortifications.
 
Mine Tour of Prettau
Since 1440 copper was mined at Rötbach and smelted at Ahrntal Valley. Mining was suspended in 1893. The interior of the St. Ignaz Mine can be toured via a mine train.
 
Folk Art Museum
The Museum of Folk Art in Dietenheim by Bruneck opened in 1976. It is spread over 3 hectares of land and contains about two dozen structures that were rebuilt between 1977 and 1993 and would have been destroyed otherwise.
 
Mineral Museum
Exhibits more than 950 mineral types from the Ziller Valley region and Upper Tauern region formed 30 million years ago in the very depth of our planet Earth. 300 m² of exhibits in St. Johann at Ahrntal Valley.
 
Holy Ghost Church
The church is located in the lower Ahrntal Valley, adjacent to a large rock. During the winter months cross country skiing is very popular.
 
Nature Park House Rieserferner-Ahrn
A three-dimensional relief provides information regarding mountains, trails, lodges, lakes and waterfalls. Children will be entertained with fairy tales and legends from the past. Admission is free. 
 
Castle Bruneck
Situated high on a hill and surrounded by strong towers and defense walls, the castle was meant do defend the Pustertal Valley against intruders.
